Scientific-technical follow-up of pre-doctoral contracts (R1)
ULPGC Calls
The contracted predoctoral research staff in training (R1) must prepare a scientific-technical progress report at the end of each of the first three years of the contract, as well as a final report covering all four years. These reports will include a description of the work done, the fulfillment of the training program, and, if applicable, a work plan for the remaining duration of the predoctoral contract, with a specific reference to the situation, progress, and obtaining of the doctoral thesis. The progress and final reports must be digitally signed by the thesis supervisor or supervisors. The following documentation should be attached along with the reports:

An updated curriculum vitae of the predoctoral researcher in training, in the abbreviated Curriculum Vitae format.
- The mandatory and binding report from the Academic Committee of the corresponding PhD program, in the standardized format established by the Graduate School.
- Updated enrollment in the current academic year of the doctoral program that gave rise to the contract.
- The documentation indicated in the previous sections for the progress reports must be submitted at least two months before the end of the respective year, with the counting of this period starting from the contract start date. The final report must be submitted within three months after the end of the contract.
- In the case of obtainingthe doctoral degree during the contract period, the submission of the documentary evidence of the defense and approval of the doctoral thesis will replace the corresponding progress reports.
- For the submission of the annual and final reports, the contracted individuals will use the specific procedure on the ULPGC electronic platform called "Submission of reports and monitoring of research staff".

ACIISI Calls
The beneficiary research personnel must provide justification for the aid they have received. This justification will be given through an annual report which will monitor the academic and research activities carried out during the contract year, as well as the fulfillment of the training program during this period. If necessary, the report will also include a work plan for the remaining periods of the aid's execution, with specific reference to the situation, progress, and completion of the doctoral thesis. This annual monitoring report should be submitted one month before the end of the contract year, using the computer application managing the procedure. The report will then be reviewed by the academic committee of the doctoral program or the doctoral school to determine if the contract should continue. The monitoring report should be submitted in the standard form available on the electronic site (model 12-a). It must be accompanied by the electronic signature of the beneficiary and the following documentation.
- Report from the Director of the doctoral thesis as per the template provided on the online platform (template 12-b).
- Report from the company supervisor, if applicable, as per the template available on the website (template 12-c).
- Copy of the work submitted for the subsidized activity to validate the presence of the acronyms of the Regional Ministry of Economy, Industry, Trade, and Knowledge and the European Social Fund.
FPU Calls
The evaluation of the training activity for pre-doctoral and university teaching is to be conducted in accordance with the sixth final provision of Law 30/2015, which governs the Vocational Training System for employment in the workplace. This provision amended Article 21.c) of Law 14/2011, which pertains to Science, Technology, and Innovation. The evaluation will be carried out annually by the Academic Committee of the Doctoral Programme or, if applicable, the doctoral school.
The individuals benefiting from this evaluation will need to submit an annual monitoring report to their university. This report will be evaluated by the Academic Committee of the Doctoral Programme and should follow the format provided on the call's website. The necessary documents for this evaluation will include the annual monitoring report of the pre-doctoral contract holder, an updated curriculum vitae, and a certification of training in teaching skills.
The designated centers of the beneficiaries are required to submit all the necessary documents comprising the annual monitoring report via the Ministry of Universities' online platform, from October 15th to November 10th, at 2:00 PM (peninsular time). This submission period is applicable only if at least 9 months have passed since the formalization of the contract.
